I read the question regarding the one way ticket to Bangkok. I have the same question except to China. I am going there to teach English. So I have an "F" visa as oppossed to a tourist visa. Would I be able to buy a one way ticket with that type of visa. I have not been able to get a hold of anyone at the China consulate in Chicago. Does anyone know if I would be able to buy a one way ticket with a "F" visa? Also my situation is the same as Melody. Once I am finished teaching. I am not sure when I will be returning, plus it was too expensive to buy a round trip ticket.
