Has anyone flown this route? Did you have to buy tickets in advance or could you just show up in Baku and buy them there for about the same price as booking in advance?

I would be very interested to read anyone's post and their experiences about entering Afghanistan. It's a super dangerous place and one would be totally flagged by intelligence agencies from multiple countries. Only thing more dangerous than just going there is to go there and preach religion other than the prevailing one. Is that what we have here? -

Fri, February 22, 2008 - 8:43 AMI will be visiting friends and going with a guy who has been a couple of times already and has a lot of contacts there. He'll be flying in directly from Canada and I am trying to decide where to fly in from as I will be travelling through Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, etc.
I would have to be really stupid to not know it is dangerous. -
