Fri, March 7, 2008 - 10:45 PMYou might try signing up for email blasts from individual airlines. Once you sign up you can designate and change preferences depending on your destination. I live in Los Angeles and recently purchased a round-trip ticket to Ontario, Canada for about $300, including taxes and fees. I know it's a hassle to do it this way - but there are some sweet deals out there if you put in a little time.

Sun, March 9, 2008 - 10:40 AMTry Aer Lingus out of SFO (San Francisco). They give you a day price schedule and their tax charges are way more reasonable.
