my sweetie and i just decided to do this trip. we haven't gotten tix yet or laid out plans but hope to soon. dear fellow travelers: anything to share on tix, routes, etc.? we're hoping to fly into one and out of the other without extra expense. we also see how many options we have: SF --> Lisbon, SF --> London, Frankfurt, Paris, etc. --> Porto, and on and on.

has anyone done this or figured it out?
